Watermelon Tequila Mojito

If you love watermelon then this Watermelon Tequila Mojito is for you!  A delicious and refreshing drink.  For a non alcoholic version, exclude tequila.

Ingredients

  • 1 seedless watermelon cube about a cup
  • 3 Tablespoons white tequila or as much as you like for each drink :)
  • 2-3 Teaspoons sugar or to taste for each drink (I like 2 teaspoons in mine
  • 1 lime use entra lime for garnish if desired
  • 10 bundle of mint leaves each drink
  • splash of club soda each drink
  • ice
  • sea salt or regular salt rim glass
  • OPTIONAL
  • garnish with mint leaves and lime slices

Instructions

Step 1

  • Cut lime in half and rim glasses with lime juice. On a plate pour some salt and flip glasses to coat with salt. 
    Cube a full glass of the watermelon. Put cubes in blender and blend until smooth. Set aside.

Step 2

  • Take the cut lime and cut again in quarters. In each glass, muddle (mash) 4 pieces of lime, sugar and about 7 to 10 mint sprigs and mix well. Repeat process with second glass. Add ice. Pour tequila to each glass. 
    Divide watermelon juice into both glasses and splash some club soda (or to taste) to each glass. 
    Garnish with lime wedges and mint sprigs. Enjoy!
