  • 2 lbs chicken drumsticks
  • 3-4 garlic cloves peeled
  • 1 teaspoon adobo seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon dry oregano
  • 3 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

Garlic Marinade

  • Using a mortar and pestle, mash garlic.
  • Add oregano and 2 tablespoon of the oil.
    Stir the marinade.

Chicken

  • Rinse chicken drumsticks.
Using a knife, make one or two slits on the meatiest part of the drumstick. (This allows for even cooking especially when drumsticks are bigger)
  • Add drumsticks to a mixing bowl and pour marinade over them.
Using your hands or a spoon, spread marinade all over drumsticks.
  • Sprinkle adobo seasoning all over the drumsticks.
Let them marinade for 10 minutes.
  • In a large skillet that has a lid, add the other tablespoon of oil and heat over medium heat.
    Add drumsticks and cover.
  • Cook for 15 minutes and then flip over and cover.
  • Remove lid and cook for another 10 minutes.
Allow drumsticks to get golden on one side and then flip over to color on the other side.
    Drumsticks are done!
