Instant Pot Boneless Pork Ribs

These incredibly tender, juicy Instant Pot Boneless Pork Ribs are just delicious! These pair perfectly with pretty much any side dish. Cook them in your instant pot for stress free tender ribs. Stove top instructions included too!

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs boneless pork ribs rinsed under cool water
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • your favorite barbecue sauce

Marinade

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dry oregano
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • ¼ cup yellow mustard
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

Make Marinade

  • Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and combine well with a fork to form a paste.
  • After rinsing ribs, cut in half if desired or leave whole.
  • Rub marinade on ribs and cover well with seasoning on all sides.

Cooking Ribs in Instant Pot

  • Add chicken broth to pot.
  • Place metal rack that comes with your instant pot in the center of pot.
  • Place ribs on top of rack. Cover pot wit lid and seal.
  • Turn the steam release handle to sealing and pressure cook ribs for 45 minutes.
  • When ribs are cooked, carefully turn handle to quick release.
  • After lever has gone down, remove ribs and place them in a bowl. Add as much or as little of your favorite barbecue sauce and top with some broth from instant pot. Mix well with large spoon or fork.
    Serve ribs immediately with whatever side dish you like.

Stove Top Instructions

  • Rinse ribs and follow instructions to make marinade.

  • In a medium to large pot add two tablespoons of oil over medium high heat.
    When oil is hot, add ribs and sear ribs on all sides.
  • Carefully add chicken broth, cover pot and cook on medium heat for 1 hour.
  • After 1 hour, check on ribs and stir with a fork. Cover and continue cooking for another 45 minutes or until ribs are super tender.
  • Remove ribs from pot and place in a mixing bowl.
    Add as much or as little of your favorite barbecue sauce and a little of the broth that the ribs cooked in.
    Mix well.
    Serve immediately with your favorite side dish.

Notes

Substitute chicken broth with 1 chicken bouillon and 1 cup of water if you do not have chicken broth.
