Avocado Margarita

This Avocado Margarita cocktail recipe is a revitalizing, refreshing and delicious drink. Ready for Cinco de Mayo or BBQ grill out, it's perfect!

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado peeled and pitted
  • 4 Ounces tequila
  • 2 Ounces triple sec or any orange liqueur
  • 2 Ounces fresh lime juice
  • 1-3 Slices jalapeño
  • salt to taste
  • 2 Cups ice

OPTIONAL

  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 Teaspoons Agave Nectar

Instructions

  • Add salt to a plate. Rub the rim of a glass with lime wedge and dip glass into salt. (this forms a salt rim around glass and is optional)
  • Add all ingredients...avocado, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, cilantro, jalapeño, agave nectar, ice, to a blender. Blend all together and add salt to taste. Blend again.
  • Divide cocktails between two glasses and garnish with cilantro leaf, lime or jalapeño slice. Enjoy!!
