Kielbasa in Chipotle Dip

This Kielbasa in Chipotle Dip recipe is simply made and delicious.  Made with kielbasa sausage, chipotle sauce, onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, garlic and served with crackers. The hint of spicy chipotle is perfect in this dip!

  • 14 Ounces kielbasa sausage chopped into very small cubes
  • 8 Ounces mushrooms coarsely chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 pepper chopped
  • 1 roma tomato cubed
  • 7.5 Ounces can of chipotle peppers just 2 tbsp of adobo sauce from can
  • 2 garlic cloves sliced
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • crackers of your choice
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • cilantro for garnish
  • 6 inch burrito wraps


  • Cube sausage into small cubes. In a skillet over medium heat add 2 tbsp of olive oil. Heat oil for about 4 minutes before adding sausage. 
    Add sausage and stir every few minutes until sausage is nice and brown in color, about 5 minutes.
  • While sausage is cooking, chop your vegetables. Add peppers and onions to pan first and mix with sausage. 
    After 2-4 minutes, add mushrooms and garlic. Stir all ingredients together, lower flame and cover with a lid. 
    Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add tomato and 2 tbsp chipotle adobo sauce from can of peppers. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 2-4 minutes. 
    Garnish with cilantro if desired. Serve with crackers. Enjoy!!


Can also serve sausage mixture in small burritos wraps.
