Alas de Pollo al Horno

Ingredients

  • lb wings rinsed
  • adobo sprinkled
  • 3 tablespoon garlic puree or 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano

Instructions

  • Adjust your oven rack to middle position and preheat the oven to 425° F.
  • Rinse the wings under cool running water. Allow excess water to rinse off of wings. Place wings in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  • Add the garlic puree and rub all over wings. Lightly sprinkle adobo on both sides. Top the wings with the teaspoon of the oregano and rub all throughout the wings.
  • Lay the wings skin side up on a baking sheet or other baking tray. Bake on the upper middle rack.
  • After 30 minutes, flip the wings over. (The total cook time will depend on the size of your wings but can take up to 45 minutes). Enjoy!

Notes

Recipe Notes:
Adobo - If you do not have adobo, use salt and pepper to season or general-purpose seasoning.
Chicken - You can also use chicken thighs in place of the wings.
Garlic - Use garlic puree, finely minced garlic or garlic powder.
Cooking in Air Fryer: Arrange the wings in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 425°F and cook for 8 minutes. Then, flip the wings over and cook for an additional 8 minutes or until they are fully cooked and golden brown.
