Fresas y Arándanos con Crema (Strawberries and Blueberries in Mexican Cream) makes for such a delicious cool and refreshing snack, breakfast or dessert.  It’s quick to make, simple and honestly, quite addicting.

So I’ll start by saying this, if you have never had fruits in cream and no I don’t mean fruits in something like plain old whipped cream, then you are in for a delicious treat!  😄

What I am talking about here is a mix of Mexican cream, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla.  This combination is so simple but also highly delicious and addicting!

Quite honestly, I still don’t understand what it is about this combination that when added to fruits makes fruits taste extra yummy and delicious!!

Although, in Mexico, this traditional Mexican dessert is made with “fresas” or strawberries.  It is common place to find “Fresas con Crema” or Strawberries in Mexican Crema.

It is made this way not only in Mexican homes but also sold at “ferias” (street fairs) as well as sold by street vendors.

With such a highly consumed snack and dessert it is found in supermarkets already prepared and ready to eat.

However, for this recipe, I decided to not only add strawberries but also some blueberries and even a little bit of banana!

I had one banana left in the fridge so I figured, why not, lets add some bananas too!

This all being said, this recipe is more of an inspiration for you, because really the cream that the strawberries, blueberries and bananas soak in is so good that you can use basically use any fruit or any combination.  The combinations are endless!

So let your own imagination and inspiration take you away!
