So a chicken wings recipe? Yes, today I’m going to share this recipe of Oven Fried Chicken Wings in Chipotle Sauce.

Hmm, lets see how many times have I looked at chicken wings recipes? I must say way too many times to sit here with you and ponder as to how many!

Grilled chicken wings, fried chicken wings, baked chicken wings, Asian chicken wings, barbecue chicken wings, boneless chicken wings…whew and the list goes on!!

Some have been really great recipes…some sweet, some spicy and some more on the bland side. Maybe on the blander side is more pleasing to some palettes but as for mine, I like a little more attentiveness! So, what do I mean, I mean that I want a little more robust! You know what I mean, right? I want zing!

    Well these have some….zing!

One thing, when it comes to chicken wings, I prefer spicy chicken wings… but of course with a dip! And one of my favorite dips for wings is blue cheese. But the chunky kind!   Chunks of blue cheese is the best!

So for this recipe I made a sour cream dip that I also love but of course made it chunky. How did I make it chunky? I added crumbled “queso fresco,” lots of it! Soo, so good!!

To make a So Good…. Sour Cream Dip all you need is:

    • sour cream
    • cilantro
    • scallions
    • queso fresco
    • salt and pepper

    That’s it!

One last thing before we get to this delicious recipe of oven fried chicken wings….

For us chicken wing lovers, we usually love the fried chicken wings right? But, sometimes when we eat them, we may feel a little guilt while eating them. Maybe you say to yourself, “I will just have four or five pieces and that’s it.” Well I want you to remember that these are baked chicken wings, actually crispy baked chicken wings, so don’t feel guilty about having just a few more!

Ok let’s get to these oven fried chicken wings in chipotle sauce recipe my foodie friends…
