    This Crunchy Taco Ring is perfect for Game Day, as an appetizer for a small gathering or served for dinner with a side of refried beans and avocado slices.

    This Crispy Crunchy Beef Taco Ring is perfect for Game Day, entertaining or even served for dinner with a side of refried beans and avocado slices.

    Or how about a side of rice and beans?  😋

    This is also a great option to beef tacos if serving a larger group.

    And with the Superbowl just a few weeks away, what a great option to entertain your guests with such a yummy fun food!

    Ingredients for Beef Taco Ring

    • flour tortillas (wraps)
    • ground beef (or ground chicken or turkey)
    • cheddar cheese
    • monterey jack cheese
    • green, red or yellow pepper
    • jalapeno pepper
    • onions
    • scallions
    • lime
    • tortilla chips
    • packet of taco seasoning
    • a tablespoon of olive oil

    What Sauces to Serve with Your Taco Ring

    • salsa verde
    • salsa
    • guacamole
    • sour cream

    Serve with one or two salsas.  Or if you’re making this taco ring for game day or entertaining, why not serve it with all four!  😊

    How to Make Beef Taco Ring

    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

    In a skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil.  Add onions and peppers and cook for 10 minutes.

    Add the ground beef and mix together well with vegetables.  Break ground beef apart with a wooden spoon.  Cook until beef is no longer pink.

    Add the taco seasoning and lime juice and mix well together.  Cook for another 3 minutes.

    Set beef mixture aside.

    Now onto cutting the flour tortillas into strips.

    Take a few flour tortillas and place on top of a cutting board.  Cut off the two round sides of the tortillas.

    Then cut tortillas straight down the middle.

    You will now end up with round end strips and straight flour tortilla strips.

    Spray a bundt pan well with non stick spray.  Place the middle (straight) flour strips on the bottom of bundt pan in a fanning pattern.

    Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese, followed by half of the ground beef mixture.

    Top with more cheese (optional).

    Top with the round sides in a fanning pattern.

    Top with more cheese (monterey or cheedar) and crushed tortilla chips.

    Add the rest of the ground beef and spread out evenly.

    Add more cheddar cheese.

    Finish off and top with the round sides of flour strips.

    Place in pre-heated oven for 40-45 minutes.

    Let cool for about 20 minutes.

    Place a large enough plate on top of bundt pan and carefully invert the taco ring onto plate.

    Ingredients

    • 10 8 inch flour tortillas
    • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1 ½ cups shredded monterey cheese or more cheddar cheese
    • 2 cups tortilla chips crushed

    Ground Beef Mixture

    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
    • 1 red or green bell pepper chopped
    • 1 onion chopped
    • 1 jalapeño chopped
    • 1 packet taco seasoning
    • 1 lime juiced

    Tools Needed

    • bundt pan
    • non stick cooking spray

    Salsas, Dips and Toppings

    • salsa verde or store bought
    • sour cream
    • salsa
    • guacamole
    • 3 scallions chopped

    Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 350 degrees (180 degrees C)

    Ground Beef Mixture

    • Top with the round sides of flour strips.

    Cooking

      Oh yummy! I’ve never come across a taco ring before but it looks so tasty and gloriously crispy and crunchy on the outside! I think my family would love it.
